NO PICS TODAY

It had been my intention to post three cards today, but when I went out to take the pictures my camera wants new batteries again. I take them out after each use and really don't use the camera much any more except for cards, OR if I am lucky enough to go on vacation. So I really don't know if it is the batteries or my camera is dying. So now I have to wait until I get new batteries. Thanks to those who have visited me, it's no fun to blog unless people drop by and leave a comment or two once in awhile. I know I do not blog everyday, nor do I post pics everyday, but I work with what I can do. I do spend a lot of time checking out everyone else's blogs though! So until I get the camera fixed this will have to do.

BIRTHDAY CARD

This is my birthday card to my very good friend and sorority sister Cheryl. The stamp is Posey from Kraftin' Kimmie's, colored cardstock is SU, colored with various brands of watercolor pencils, ribbon from my stash, and a cat charm. Yes I made some messy mistakes. I went to pick up the finished image and did not realize I had some ink on my hand. No time to do over, but what the heck she'll love it anyway just because it is homemade. Have a great week everyone.

This is the card I did for my February OCS partner through Teri's swap. It is very simple as I fell in love with the designer paper and just could not cover it up. Mary C. is from Springfield, Ma. and does not have a blog, but obviously checks them out. She should have received her card by now. I have used dp from Michael's off the shelf, a Hero Arts circle stamp, and CS from Stampin' Up.

JANUARY OCS CARD

Isn[t this the most adorable easel/shaker card? Jenny of Jenny's Creations was my OCS partner. I was really blown away when I opened my envelope and she also included a couple of surprises for me. A huge hug and thanks Jenny.

SUPER BOWL PLUS

Hi people. How many are getting ready to watch the Super Bowl? I don't normally watch sports on TV, but at the pregam they are going to show my grandson's carrierC live and during the National Anthem they will show the below deck hanger bay, where they assemble for big events. So no, I most likely will not be able to see him, but you never know. I follow his carrier as closely as I can. I am so very proud of this young man!!

So now I am going to try and post my January OCS card received from Jenny and the card I did for the ABC Challenge for January - C for candy/pink.
