WOYWWW - 211

Really on here late today.  Today is my pay day so will be going out soon to "run my errands", better know as paying the bills.  My youngest brother is here visiting from out of state and my two brothers and I sent out to eat last night at Outback.  We all had a nice visit.  Would like to go out and buy some crafty goodies, but am trying to talk myself out of it, of course, I don't really expect to listen to my self.  LOL

My work area is pretty much picked up today since I was picking the house up a little because my brother was coming.  I have been experimenting with backgrounds on embossed ATCs on my Cuttlebugs using the new Impressabilities.  I need to see if I can find some heavier cardstock so  the embossing shows a little deeper.  My Ionic cutter, embossing powder, ink refills, ink pads Tim's distress inks, basket of my markers, ruler, and clipboard for sitting watching TV when coloring, AND I found my WOYWWW badge.  Knew if I stopped stressing and looking it would turn up all by itself.

Thanks to all who stopped by last week.  I got to as many of you as I could.  There are now so many of us it is almost impossible to get to everyone.

Enjoy the rest of the week and will visit as many as I possible.

WOYWW - 210

This will probably be a short post.  Better then last week when I lost Wednesday totally!  Also was waiting for my ATC to arrive so I could post it.  Not much going on this week.  Looks like we across the middle of the U.S. could have major, major storms.  Predicting it could affect many millions of people across a 10 state area.  Hope not - I think we have had enough.  Well on to better things.

First is my lovely ATC from Kate P.  Thank you Kate and it is done in all my favorite colors.  I am always amazed by all of different styles, types, IDEAS of all involved..  Don't know why I should be surprised when there are so many talented people on WOYWW.

Now for the ATC I received from Ria in return for the ATC I sent here as my partner.  I did not expect her to send me one back - BUT, I happy she was so thoughtful.  I love it as it has techniques I have been afraid to try and a style I have never tried.  Thank you Ria!

Lastly are three ATCs I did for my sorority sisters to carry in their purse.  It is a take off on my ATC from our swap anniversary.

That's all for this week.  And a big thank you to Julia for another great upcoming year of WOYWW.  Will visit as many of you as I can.  Have a great weekend.

WOYWW - 208 - 4th ANNIVERSARY

Wow, the day we have all been waiting for with much anticipation!

Sorry I have been missing again, but without going into it I have had a few small health issues and have been very, very tired and laid back.

Julia we so appreciate all the work you have done in order to keep this fun Blog going for 4 years!

I have done another three cards from the once a month classes Lynn from our home park has been having this year.  These are the last ones until she returns from her Northern home in New York for winter season.  I also took another short sit/take home from Joey Long of Keeton's Office & Art Supplies, an ATC done with some foil.  Am taking a paid class from her in another couple of weeks.

First is a bouquet of flowers stamped, colored with colored ink embossing pens, and cut out with an Cuttlebug cutout rectangle embossed and along side the sentiment is "just because..." and is left blank inside, the second is the sailboat with the sails on pop up dots and the sails are embossed and a sentiment inside, and third is the four lay flower with the enter having thread woven around the petals and an embossed stem and se cannot see it but the green is cut along the top to represent grass.

Sorry this came out sideways and I don't have time to figure out how to get it turned.  The pic does not do it justice, it is very bright and sparkly in person.  Have fun everyone.

Oooops forgot to show "desk".  No work in progress today.  Stack of paper, magazine, double stick tape, and I finally broke down and bought a Pro Glide since they are making a smaller version, a stamp, mini glue dots, glue pen, computer, cuppa coffee, camera, cell phone, and a congratulations card hidden under a small legal tablet, heat gun

TRYING TO POST

This is just an entry to see if I can get something posted.  I have been having quite a time with the set up blogger now has for us.  HATE IT!  I have spent hours trying to get postings on for WOYWW and I really want to do the ATC swap for Julia's 4th Anniversary post coming up.  So here goes for trying to post this.

WOYWWW - 199 - part 2

Ok I am brain dead today I guess.  Forgot to post the pics.  So will try and get them on here now.

Well it worked!  My compter was just worked on and is still doing very crazy things, so I never know what to expect.  LOL

WOYWW-#199

Well I am very late in posting, but at least I have gotten around to it.  Been pretty boring here.  We are having another cold snap here this week (yes I know some of you will laugh at being in the 30's and 40's).  I am from the Mid-west and do truly know cold weather, but after being in Florida several years your blood thins out and for us that is a little cooler than we like.

Last week my girlfriend and I decided to attend a monthly craft session taught by one of the ladies that lives here in the Park.  She charges $5.00 and you get to make three cards.  I thought this might be a good way to get myself in gear again.  We had a good time and met ladies we had seen round the Park, but had never met.  Also, a couple of people we do know who are snowbirds.  Anyway here are the three cards we made:  the first is a bear at sunset for a male birthday, second is a layered birthday card, and the third is my favorite - little chicks for Easter.

I do get on the computer and check out many of your blogs, but haven't taken the time to comment on your many beautiful creations.  Have a wonder week.

WHERE HAVE I BEEN?

I did not realize it has been so long since posting!  Between babysitting, running people to work who have no car, and doctor appointments, well, you see how it goes.  Am going to try and get something done to post for this weeks WOYWW and I see Julia is on her 4th year Anniversary for her blog.  What an accomplishment!  Also, she is celebrating again this year with an ATC  swap.  Need to be thinking about that also.  It is just a bit chilly in Florida this weekend, but the sun is coming in and out.  Waiting for baby's parents to come and pick up the babe.  I have kept her for a couple of nights since their apartment has no heat and it has gone down in the 30's.

In the Senior Park where I live we have a lady who is teaching card making on the 3rd. Thursday of each month.  You make 3 cards for $5.00 and she provides the supplies.  So maybe this will get me back on track again.

Hope all my blogging buddies are well and enjoying life.  Hope to see you on Wednesday with a project or two.
